On Wednesday 30th November we held our Annual Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI), conference ‘International Banking: Navigating Challenging Times‘ in The Westin Hotel, Dublin 2. We had a sell out audience on the day listening to our key speakers, including Michael McGrath, TD, Minister for Public Expenditure & Reform; Fiona Gallagher, FIBI Chairperson & Chief Executive Officer, Wells Fargo Bank International; Spyros Andreopoulos, Senior European Economist, BNP Paribas and Mary-Elizabeth McMunn, Director of Credit Institutions, Central Bank of Ireland.
Over three sessions our expert line up of speakers and panellists explored where the risks lie for International Banks in Ireland, encompassing both the economic and regulatory landscape, and how they planned to adapt their existing business models to ensure growth into the future.
