Thursday 18thAugust 2022 – Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI) has announced the appointment of Gavin Purtill as Director of Regulation & Supervision.
Gavin joined BPFI in 2011 and has led and managed BPFI’s international banking division the Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI) in his previous role as the Head of Capital Markets and International Banking. He has over 15 years of international banking experience with extensive engagement at senior stakeholder level across both the European and Irish financial services industry. He is an experienced Treasury Dealer and Regulatory Accountant. He has a Masters in Investment Treasury and Banking from DCU and a Masters in Business Practice from UCC.
