Through our Brussels and Frankfurt offices, our membership of the European Banking Federation as well as the International Banking Federation, BPFI provides a strong level of monitoring and influencing on legislative and regulatory matters by the EU and international policy makers and standards setters.

Our comprehensive events programme throughout the year includes conferences, seminars, webinars and briefings. Many of these events are also open to non-members.

Eligibility

An application for membership is open to:

  • An undertaking which is a credit institution or financial institution providing banking or financial services in the Republic of Ireland which is approved by a competent authority for such purposes; and
  • Any subsidiary of any such undertaking which is subject to consolidated supervision for such purposes by a competent authority.

Other entities may qualify for categories of membership other than full membership.
